TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility

All drivers must hold a valid driving licence, meet our insurance requirements, and be approved by Pristine Fleet before the hire begins. We reserve the right to refuse any booking that does not meet our requirements.

2. Booking & Reservation Fee

A non-refundable reservation fee of £99 is required to secure all bookings.

Your booking is not confirmed until the reservation fee has been received and accepted by Pristine Fleet.

The £99 reservation fee will be deducted from the total rental cost.

If the hirer cancels the booking after paying the reservation fee, the £99 reservation fee is non-refundable.

If Pristine Fleet is unable to fulfil the booking due to circumstances within our control, the reservation fee will be refunded in full.

Vehicle availability remains subject to confirmation.

3. Payment & Security Deposit

The remaining rental balance is due upon collection of the vehicle on the agreed hire start date.

A refundable security deposit must also be paid before the vehicle is released. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle hired.

The security deposit may be used to cover damage, fines, excess mileage, late returns, additional cleaning, unpaid charges, or any breach of these Terms & Conditions or the Rental Agreement.

4. Vehicle Use

Only drivers approved by Pristine Fleet and named on the Rental Agreement may drive the vehicle.

Vehicles must be driven responsibly and legally and must not be used for racing, drifting, track days, off-road driving, towing, illegal activities, or taken outside the UK without prior written permission.

5. Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned on time, with the agreed fuel level, and in the same condition it was supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.

Additional charges may apply for late returns, excess mileage, missing fuel, damage, excessive cleaning, tyre or alloy wheel damage, or missing keys or accessories.

6. Damage, Accidents & Breakdown

The hirer is responsible for the vehicle throughout the hire period and must report any accident, damage, theft or breakdown immediately.

The hirer may be responsible for repair costs, recovery, storage, vehicle downtime, loss of hire, administration fees and any other reasonable costs resulting from the incident.

Breakdown cover is included; however, costs resulting from driver negligence, including misfuelling, lost keys or flat batteries, remain the hirer's responsibility.

7. Fines & Charges

The hirer is responsible for all parking fines, speeding offences, congestion charges, ULEZ charges, Dart Charge, tolls and any other penalties incurred during the hire period.

An administration fee may apply for processing these notices.

8. Insurance

All rentals remain subject to insurance approval.

Insurance may be invalid if the vehicle is used in breach of these Terms & Conditions or the Rental Agreement. Where this happens, the hirer remains responsible for all resulting losses and costs.

9. Vehicle Tracking

Our vehicles may be fitted with GPS tracking and telematics for security, theft recovery, safety, insurance and fleet management purposes.

10. Cancellation & Termination

Pristine Fleet reserves the right to refuse, cancel or terminate any booking where payment has not been made, false information has been provided, eligibility requirements are not met, or these Terms & Conditions or the Rental Agreement have been breached.

11. Liability

The hirer remains responsible for the vehicle throughout the hire period and agrees to reimburse Pristine Fleet for any losses, damages or costs arising from the hire, in accordance with the signed Rental Agreement.

12. Changes to These Terms

Pristine Fleet reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any updated version will be published on our website and will apply from the date of publication.

13. Acceptance

By making a booking, paying the reservation fee or hiring a vehicle from Pristine Fleet, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Before the vehicle is released, every hirer must sign Pristine Fleet's Self-Drive Hire Rental Agreement, which forms the full legal agreement between the hirer and Pristine Fleet Ltd. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and the signed Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and the Rental Agreement are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
